• About the Artist (画家介绍):
  • Quek Kiat Sing (Born, Singapore, 1972) has gained recognition in local awards such as the United Overseas Bank Painting of the year Competition and the Dr Tan Tsze Chor Art Award. She represented Singapore at the ASEAN Cultural Week in Vietnam in 2004 and participated in the China ASEAN Youth Artwork Creativity Contest in China in 2006. In 2008, she was selected for Vermont Studio Centre Residency in USA. In the Sovereign Asian Art Prize 2010 of Hong Kong, she was one of the Singapore finalists. At present, she lectures part-time at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts
  • 郭捷忻(出生于1972 年,新加坡)在本地参加过与受肯定的奖项包括大华银行比赛,陈之初比赛。2004年,她代表新加坡于越南参加亚西安文化周。2006 中国-东盟青年艺术品创作大赛中得奖。2008年选获美国佛特蒙画室驻村将。2010年香港主办的杰出亚洲艺术奖中入围。现于南洋艺术学院任教。
